It allows us to approach life from a posture of curiosity. To be excited about the unknown, to develop and test innovative solutions, and to evolve as new circumstances arise.
This is not an easy route.
Evolution requires deliberately grappling with unfamiliarity on a regular basis. Getting in the arena, coming up short, and trying again. And again and again. It is uncomfortable and unpredictable and ridiculously messy. It will knock you down, and if it really means something to you, it will probably require a ton of emotional labor to get back up.
And every time you do, your comfort zone widens. Your threshold for change increases.
You grow. Bit by bit. Skill by skill.
Throughout this entire process, my job is to set you up for success, help strengthen your weaknesses, and offer tools to add to your toolkit.
I believe in creating a safe, inclusive environment for continued evolution where artists are free to come as they are, take audacious risks, learn by doing, and fail forward on the path to self-discovery.
