Self-tapes shouldn’t look DIY.
Casting directors can tell when you taped it alone at midnight. Don’t sabotage good work with bad lighting, weird framing, or directionless takes.
I make sure your tapes are clean, grounded, and compelling — technically and artistically.
During your taping session, I’ll:
Coach your acting, singing, and storytelling in real-time
Play piano live (if needed)
Serve as your reader and scene partner
Ensure framing, sound, and energy are dialed in
Provide all the equipment you need at my home studio

For coachings anytime (including weekends or weekday evenings), we can meet on Zoom or you can rent an approved Midtown rehearsal studio.

That said, your time is valuable. The more you prep, the further we can go together. Here’s how to make the most of your session:
Do your homework. Read the script, memorize your material, and arrive warmed up. (If you need help with any of that, I got you.)
Have a plan. Know what you want to accomplish, and let me know — either ahead of time or at the start of the session — so I can make sure we get to everything possible. If you’re not sure, we can figure it out together.
Send the materials. You can text or email me any materials you’re working with (sides, sheet music, scripts, tracks) before the session. Or you can AirDrop them in-person.
Organize your music. I like using my iPad, but if you’re bringing physical sheet music, please use a binder: double-sided, 3-hole punched or in sheet protectors. No loose sheets, please.
Most importantly: just be yourself. I’m here for you, and there’s no wrong way to show up!

Because of the slight delay on Zoom, I can’t accompany you live, so I strongly recommend using a backing track during your session. If you need help finding or prepping one, let me know.
For best results, play your track from an external device (a Bluetooth speaker works great). Avoid playing it through the same device you’re using for Zoom, as it’s hard for me to hear that way.
Also, make sure Original Sound for Musicians is turned on in your Zoom settings:
On Desktop: Settings → Audio → Audio Profile → Turn on Original Sound for Musicians and enable all three options (high-fidelity, echo cancellation, stereo audio). Then toggle it on during the call (top-right of Zoom screen).
On Phone: Tap your profile (top-left) → Settings → Audio → Original Sound for Musicians.
On Tablet: Tap More → Audio → Original Sound for Musicians.

I’m a voice coach, which means that I can help you use the skills and technique you already have to interpret music authentically, stylistically, and healthily. I can also offer you quick vocal fixes to help you prepare material on the spot.
As a singer myself and a student of many different voice teachers, my approach will probably feel like it supplements your voice lessons and fills in the gaps, with a strong emphasis on physiology.
Often, my clients also work with a voice teacher to help them build a foundational technique from the ground up.
